Forensic examination of fire and explosion scenes along with safe breaking and burglary has been conducted in all States of Australia. Greg is acknowledged as an expert in the field of origin and cause examination and is often called upon to offer opinion evidence in this area. He is a Licensed Electrical Contractor in NSW and is often requested to examine fires where electrical appliances or systems are considered to have been involved in the fires ignition.

Greg has examined in excess of 2800 fire scenes over the past 22 years and is accredited as one of a team of six people who wrote the curriculum for the Graduate Diploma in Fire Investigation Course now offered by Charles Stuart University. Greg is often sought after to speak on fire examination and is highly regarded as a Lecturer to Police on fire investigation. Greg Kelly & Associates has well established professional links with Police and Fire Brigades personnel along with other Forensic Examiners around Australia.

Court Qualified Expert Witness

Greg is a court qualified expert witness. His evidence and opinions have been accepted at Court and been subjected to cross examination and rebuttal witnesses on numerous occasions.

Teacher & Lecturer

Greg is currently a Lecturer at the NSW Police Academy Arson Training Course and has recently been appointed as the Lecturer in Fire and Explosion Scene Examination at the Canberra Institute of Technology.
