The GKA Investigations Group comprises of a team of professional investigators that collectively have over 50 years experience in examining crime scenes including fire scenes.

The team at GKA Investigations Group have formal qualifications including Bachelor degrees in Applied Science (Forensic Investigation), credentials in Electrical Engineering and Community Studies, along with certification from the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.

Greg is acknowledged Australia wide as an expert in the field of fire investigation, having examined in excess of 2800 fire investigations since 1983.

Greg began his investigation career in 1981 as a NSW Police officer, progressing to a detective/crime scene examiner and then on to a criminal intelligence analyst. Due to his high level of experience in the industry, Greg was one of a team of six people who wrote the curriculum for the Certificate in Fire Investigation course now offered by Charles Stuart University.

In addition to his extensive experience in scene examination, Greg also has qualifications in Electrical Engineering, and is an Officer Member of the Institution of Engineers Australia, meaning that through his understanding of electrical circuitry, he is able to provide an additional insight into many scene examinations.

Greg is often called upon to provide his expert opinion in lawsuits and investigations, and has provided evidence for the NSW Coroner (in cases relating to both fire and death); Director of Public Prosecutions; Legal Aid NSW and defense counsel.
