| News Sheep Destroyed in truck fire VETS were called to put down sheep after a B-double truck caught alight in the state's South East. CFS crews were called to the truck which was transporting the livestock and travelling through Western Flat, between Bordertown and Naracoorte, about 11.15pm last night. Fires had started in the lower decks of the front and rear carriages. Firefighters managed to stop the blaze destroying the upper decks although livestock was severely burned. Vets were called to euthanase the 100 sheep burnt. The driver was not injured and investigations are continuing into what caused the fire. 23 October 2009 Australian experts to help Fiji's bus fire investigation Forensic specialists from Australia will help investigate a fire on a bus in Fiji that killed 10 people. Fiji live say local police confirm the specialists will arrive in Fiji this week. Police say the bus engine caught fire last Thursday while travelling in Sigatoka, and burnt the hydraulic hoses for the brake. Fiji live says the bus is said to have been engulfed in flames before it halted in a ditch after travelling more than a kilometre. The National Fire Authority will help in the investigations.
